The Roommate is a 2011 upcoming thriller, horror, mystery, and crime film from Christian E. Christiansen starring Minka Kelly (Sara Webber), Danneel Harris (Irene Crew), Leighton Meester (Rebecca Woods), Cam Gigandet (Stephen Morterelli), and Alyson Michalka (Tracy Morgan). The Roommate will be available as movies on demand a month after it's screening on February 4, 2011 worldwide. The movie will be distributed by Screen Gems and is a rated PG-13 for sexual content, some language and partying, and violence and menace. This recent film releases is about the life of a college freshman who is assigned into a dorm with a new roommate. Everything starts well and they become good friends easily.
